Hi everyone 
Just bringing this one over from MHI
Here is a Step by step of my progress so far, this build is more for fun than for accuracy
Step 1
I've added a few extra bits from an old Dragon kit, but apart from that, I have tried to stick exclusively to the Tamiya kit.
Step 2
Next up comes a base coat of primer grey from AK...
Step 3
The base colour was achieved using the AK Dunkelgelb modulation set
Step 4
The turret was masked with Blu-Tak and painted using AK Green
Step 5
I started to work on the basic chipping and oil filters, the chips were created using the lightest shade in the AK modulation set, this was applied using a W&N size 00 brush.
I then began working on the basic colours using a small selection of oil colours. These were thinned down and applied in washes.
Step 6
Oil filters of buff have been applied as a dusty base layer. This was followed by AK dust enamel, which was applied using the specking technique to give the surface of the tank more detail I have been working in small layers, waiting for each layer to dry thoroughly before moving onto the next.
I also added some burnt umber into the dust mix to add some surface variation, this was thinned down with artists spirits and applied as a wash.
Step 7
Positive chips have been applied in certain areas as well as washes using AK fresh mud
This may take some time

Step 8
The wood has been painted with acrylics from vallejo. The rusted metal has been painted with lifecolor paints, dusted with AK steel pigments and then painted again with lifecolor paints.
