Start build with Ed 1/48 FW-190 A-8 come with aftermarket Decal. Flown by Luftwaffe ace Josef "Pips" Priller, Focke-Wulf FW-190 A-8 Black 13 Stab/JG 26 single strafing pass attack on Sword Beach on 6th June 1944.  Cockpit and fuselages - non cement for test fitting.  Plastic MG 151 barrel breakable. I :think: decided selected brass tube barrel replacement from my hobby material stuff.  Made holes by Micro drilling. I forgot used my :geek: head mount magnifier.  Looks better as improvement and non-breakable. I know about RLM Number and Colour Ref. 100% match with My Vallejo acrylic and Humbrol enamel.    I decided no need be airbrushing with cockpit so waste time! then I used my Hand-brushing with cockpit via Humbrol Enamel so quickly easy! so I was happy that. Assembled a BMW 801 Engine.   It is not important detail because the cowling - closed so can`t see at inside of engine detail.   Fuselage and wing joints so all sharp closed! I found FW-190 have some secret joints area then i fixed with some joints edge bit clean up by surgery knife, no big job filling with it but just very few filling at middle lower fuselage. |

Andy - Thanks mate, yeah barrels looks better and good protect non breakable. ;-)
Chris - Thanks mate, of course I love FW-190 family/series and I agreed with you - Eduard`s instructions come with Historian/stories also good scheme details and crispy plastic parts are excellent!

I've heard that the Eduard 190s have some fit issues...but yours seems to be going together just fine. Any problems?

TRM - yeah, I looking forward ready for the paint work with FW 190 scheme.
Dupe - I was checked out make sure with fuselage & wing edge surface angle flat - dry joints - after glue applying. I can't remember some removal somewhere at fuselage and wings but next time build another FW 190 again then I will tell you what's wrong with fuselage and wing.

Next to Tamiya, You gotta love Eduard! I just got through building the F-8 variant, and the only fit issue I had was the the gap at the bottom rear of the fuselage/wing. By the looks of it you didn't have that issue. coming along nicely Stug!

Postage box arrived on at my door for new gun sight part so Thanks to Eduard`s staff service & support.    Next applying masks will be cover on the canopy then surface primer spray overall on the FW-190 body. |

Fine Surface primer overall - Done leave it for let drying time at overnight.
