I is glad to be back again peeps 
and a big thanks to Rob for finding us all a new home 
My offering for the D Day group build is Tamiya's 1/35 Mobelwagen so I thought it best to grab the original progress link before I forget and the old site disappears into the ether
link Have I done this correctly as I'm thinking the link will vanish when the site goes
Cant say there's been a lot of progress as my son is awaiting his A level results and my good wife and I have had our heads firmly planted in sorting his potential University placing out. That and the fact the sun hasn't stopped shining for quite a while and on this weather beaten little island you have to take advantage of it as its quite a rarity
It happens so feckin infrequently our press like to call it a 'heatwave' 
Anyway back to the bench. Gun is base coated and some wear and tear scrubbed off using the HS tech followed by a pin wash of Abteilung oils. I airbrushed a mix of Tamiya black & Tamiya steel for the barrel and gun sight and it sort of worked. The whole piece looks really dry but there's some filters, mapping & oils still to go on to liven things up
I had a play about with a camo scheme on the gun armour using the same colours as the hull and although I cant find a pic of this particular scheme I'm sticking with it for now
