Good morning Lads. Picked out some details in the cockpit and seat, so that's done The plan for today is to join the two halfs of the fuselage and let them set. ACW

Hey Jeff I know you heard all of the comments about the size of this model but I just had to add my 2 cents ........... Some tight detail on the little I.P. bro .

Carl, if you put your 2c by the side of the cockpit it will disappear Jeff, very very nice. I suppose you're going to keep the canopy open...

I'm still on the fence with that one Lu. Looking at the instructions I just noticed that the inside frame work of the canopy needs to be painted the cockpit color if left open. Don't know how I'm going to handle that yet

Mask the external part, paint it the internal color, then, over it, the external one. looking from the inside the frames will be the right color

LOL, it's not mine. It's just I'm a former wingy builder, that's a common trick. It works best in small scales, where the size helps to hide you have not Painted the internal part. In large scales it can be much easier to spot the trick, so they have to mask the inside.
It looks like it falls together quite well, great job.

Glad you're liking it so far Leon. I'm having a good time doing it so far. Luigi, that's O.K. Bro, don't care if it's not yours. It's a great idea. I'm NOT a wingy builder by any means and everything you guys come up with is a help. As far as how the kit is going together, it has been good so far. I gotta thank Matt (Doogs) for helping me out with this pick.

Reaching out again. What color should the landing gear bays be ? There seems to be no set color with all the pics I've looked at. So I may have just answered my own question

Looking great Jeff!! Office looks tops! I think you are kind of right on the color on the inside of the wheel wells. A lot of the "trophy relics" have been repainted for show and no one really cares it seems from that standpoint...they just paint them and stick em on the lawn! But, two colors do seem to stand out as a commonality...the same green/green-blue interior color...same as the cockpit and a medium grey. Both appear to be used. I think the green would look better if you ask me as it would stand out better against the exterior finish...but your call my friend!! Bring it on!!

Hey Todd, thanks Bud. Every pic I look at is different I was thinking like a zinc chromate color, you know greenish yellow. Don't seem like I could go wrong with that.

Think it would be perfect!! Even being as small as it is, its nice to bring out the points of interest...color would do that!!

If you get a chance, can you throw a ruler down next to this guy in one of the pics? I know it's small, but I don't think I have a good concept of HOW small. Like 2 inches? 3?

Looking good so far! See - told you these little guys were winners! Eager to see what scheme you're going to go for. For all those looking for a sense of size - here are two of the little buggers on a business card.
