At least if the Polish Hussar is waiting, you've done an excellent job here. Some dust operation next?

Elco- Thanks man!
Luigi- Believe me its great having you back... LOL Thanks my friend!
Nicusi- Appreciate it... thanks! Sorry about the delay but my Polish friend is not far from me on the bench... it will be next for me to finish it before I start a new build.
Little more detail painting... did some highlighting last night on the stowage.

Leon- Thanks wizardo!!! Guys- Just a quick pic... hard to see the highlights on the stowage with my iPhone. Painted various rust tones on the mufflers. I am going to spray base coat on those two using the hairspray technique. Little more work on the leather straps then pin washing is next I think...

What colour did you use as a base? I mean what tone is that panzergrau?

Nicusi- Thanks my friend! Think I am coming up with cold... my wife has been sick with cold for last two days. This sucks... Luigi- Absolutely... here's the stuff I used for the panzer grey base coat. AK CM set... went for lighter shade if possible cause sun and heat was rough out there in North Africa if you agree. LOL Then I used Vallejo DAK paint set that our boyfriend Todd sent me. Hope it helps...

Little update... used Eduard PE stencil to spray DAK insignia for the first time and it was fun! AHHH! The wheels are on finally... After I saw the picture how bad leather straps was on the front... I went back to the bench to repaint all straps. LOLOLOL Sometimes pictures show more than what I can see with my old eyes... Thanks for looking my friends!

LOL! Don't we love FB?!?!?! It is great way to know each other better... I worked on the leather straps as soon as I posted the first picture... I think they look better now. As usual they will look better after pin washing job. I sense a good night of bench time coming up. Why? My wife texted me she is very tired so she wants to rest tonight...

Little update here... more detail painting & highlighting and I think that part is pretty done. Need to chip paint off the mufflers next! Worked on jerry cans used for water as they had painted white crosses on them. First attempt using Tamiya tapes failed miserably as the lines were crooked. LOL So had to repaint then created a stencil using an index card and it was a lot quicker and fun... Chipping will be next... of course they were pretty banged up too. Sprayed mist of heavily thinned sand paint to tone down the chipping... it made all paint blend. Thanks for looking!

Andy, I ask myself why don't you think to put your "desert warrior" in a diorama. Your effort surelly deserves it. A great BRAVO untill now! Cheers, Nicolae
