I can't look enough, Andy, the historical photos are great and you've raised the level, no major difference between your work and the historical reality. Whoau! When I'll attack my DAK subject, surelly I'll come back reading your topic. But as I said, I'd love to see your vehicule in a diorama. Kind regards! Nicolae

Nicolae- Thanks buddy! We might do something of GB in 2015 that will include DAK, North Africa and Mediterranean Sea. Maybe that's something you can sign up if we ever do one.
Carl- LOLOLOL! Should I apply Zimmerit first? I think I have enough drywall spackle to make it happen. Can you help me out?

Carl- LOLOLOL! Should I apply Zimmerit first? I think I have enough drywall spackle to make it happen. Can you help me out? Just remember to watch your ridge spacing at the corner joints and don't exceed the authorized maximum height in the pattern and you're set!

LOL!!! Did I ever tell you how much I hate painting?!?!? Except when I paint on models of course! Painted one of boys rooms and did a lot of touching up in two other rooms. WOW Amazing how much damage the walls can receive from two boys and a wife who is "hammer-happy-triggered"?!?!? Finally back at my bench catching up here and working on two figures... thanks for the comments! You made me smile...

Gosh, where did the whole month go?!?!? I have been away from home for nearly three weeks... Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the birthplace of singer Michael Jackson Gary, Indiana! I am sorry for being slow... some of you guys know me and my speed pace. Returning slowly to my bench... the figures are about 75% completed. Bought the flags from Archer Transfer at ArmorCon I thought it would be perfect for air identification. Unfortunately the parts of the flag was already stuck to the paper behind it... rubbed it against foil paper. I added holes and made the corner of flag torn because it couldn't come off the paper at first place. Hope it looks OK to you...

Anthony-Thanks buddy! Damn glad we got to meet at the show. LOL Will there be a desert base? Definitely yes. That's what I have been working tonight... still in very early stage. Mr T- End is near?!?!? I sure hell hope so! LOL Thanks boss! Leon- Thanks wizardo! Carl- Thanks pirare!!! Nice avatar by the way... This time I chose smaller frame than usual 8 X10... I realize I am running out of space fast! This time Its 6 X 8 I think... Poured paste to start with... will use Vallejo Desert Sand next when it is dry solid. Was not in mood to paint the figures tonight... added adhesive mirror to it. Echelon Fine Details don't have one for 232s so I stole one for 251 and I used the hole cutter on the extra space make a good match. Thanks for looking!

Guys- Thank you my friends! Sorry for being slow... damn busy at work and home. I broke my personal record for staying awake for more than 30 hours. Never again! LOL
Dupes- You will love their stuff. Not the first time I have used... I used on my 234, DUKW and Challenger. The set comes with extra space on its edge that I can use to cut into different shapes. I wonder if Echelon sells blank one that I can use... you got me thinking! LOL Thanks buddy!
DR- Thanks my fav rat! End is near? I sure hope! LOL Thanks mate!
Bill- Thanks professor!!! It is my goal to finish it before end of month... wait and see! No more trips... been away from home for nearly 3 weeks out of 4 last month you probably noticed on my FB. LOL
Carl- Or even if your wife wants to go to Joanne Fabric you tell her you want to go too. She may be puzzled... that's where I bought the set from. LOL

Travel is good for racking up the frequent flier miles but not for bench time, that's for sure! Hope things settle down a bit before the holidays at least for you so you can finish this one off proper.

I wish I fly often to rack up the miles like I did at my old jobs... mostly I travel within the state now and few times out of the state. No more out of state trips til the spring break I hope! Things are starting to slow down as it is closer to annual audit... not exactly my favorite part but I will be chained to my desk for 3-4 weeks soon. LOL
Thanks professor... always great having you tagging along!

Posting an update? I wish... spent two nights reorganizing my bench. All spare parts... hundreds of them... are finally inside the organizer that my dad gave me several years ago. Got this at ArmorCon... wish I bought second set for the other end of my bench. I have made my OCD self very happy now... back to modeling next time!
