As I just joined the forum I thought I'd post a few of my past builds.
This is one of my favorite beaters. It is a rebuild of a kit I finished a number of years ago that had warped badly.
The next three are all destined to be on the Frenchie's Bar diorama I currently have under construction.
The next one is a piece I built for a model railroad layout that never came about. The building stands in Goldfield, Arizona. The model is in 1/48 scale.

Thanks for the comments on the Texaco diorama guys. Unfortunately the local judges didn't care for it. They didn't like the base; said it was too flat. Apparently none of them have ever been in Southern Arizona.

Here's one I finished a year or so ago. It started life as the Lindberg 1934 Ford Pickup. I decided to do it as a drivable Rat Rod.
I chopped the top a scale 3 inches, bobbed the bed a scale 9 inches and dropped the front end a scale 3 inches. I replaced the kit wheels and tires with a set off of a cheap diecast I picked up at Walgreen's Pharmacy. The kit engine was replaced with a Revell Parts Pack 427 Ford.
I sectioned the radiator and shell a scale 3 inches. Otherwise it would have been so tall as to interfere with driver visibility.
The Mexican blanket on the seat is made with sewing thread.
The body was finished like so: Primed with Gray primer; next stainless steel paint; next Guards Red paint. The paint was then sanded, chipped and rubbed to produce the wear patterns. This was followed by Bragdon weathering powders and a liberal coating of dirt dug up from the pitchers mound in a local park. Everything was then sealed with a semi-gloss clear.
Hope you guys like it. I'll post something else in the next day or so.

Here's another one built sometime ago. It is meant to represent one of the many low budget, back yard garage built cars that show up at Bonneville every year.
Hope you like it.

An early California Highway Patrol car I finished a couple of months ago. It is based on the AMT 1932 Ford Coupe. The emergency lights are scratched The door decals are homemade and accurate to the era.
