Hello Folks,In an effort to salvage some of the content from MHISC, I will bring over the individual remaining entrants for the Wingy Challenge and their builds to MSC in case they wish to continue to participate in the contest.
If you are one of the contestants and you wish to revive you build and have this content under you own name as the Thread Originator, simple follow the same instruction for moving posts from one forum to MSC outlined HERE and you can start a new thread and easily copy and past the information into the new thread. Any questions, please do not hesitate to PM me and I can help you through the process.
Having disabled and sunk my previous entry for this GB,I have gone back to my Primary interest, wingies, with piston engines!!! Here be my proposal.... Done in this livery..... Wing Commander Roland P(Bee) Beamont,CO of 150 Wing...Here is his Obituary from the Daily Telegraph... www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituar ... amont.html (For Reference only). As you can see,he was an extraordinary pilot..... This particular Tempest most probably used a Napier Sabre IIB engine a 24 cylinder H configuration ,developing 2400hp,but if anyone cares to correct me,feel welcome.... Ok,chaps...thanks for joining me.Hopefully the old mojo will stay for all of this, but i'm using 2 media I haven't done much with,Etch, and resin. But hey hoo, this is what I've got to work with.... A resin pit, with the normal Eduard coloured etch to stick to me lips!!! And not a lot else in the way of parts.... There is another fret of etch, that I had misplaced when I took the piccies, and that is mainly for the U/C bays, etc I'll get this in to the Hangar, next chance I get....Man,my elves are gonna be ferkin busy!!!!
