Bronco - WW-II British and Commonwealth War Correspondent set in 1/35th Scale Kit # CB35140 By Shawn W. Gehling This is an exciting set based on six (6) British or Commonwealth War Correspondents. They come with various uniforms (they appear to all be NW Europe) and three have standard British helmets, two have Beret’s and one has a Paratroopers helmet. Three of them have pistols in holsters. Two are armed with movie cameras, two have shutter type cameras, one has a compact camera and one has a typewriter. This should allow you to cover the war in all forms The Kit: Contains 12 smaller sprues with 89 pieces that have little or no flash. There are two sets of the camera sprues (also note that there are two different sets of the H sprue). These six Correspondents are ready to bring the war to the home front through first hand photos and stories. They are all in relaxed poses and will add realism to any propaganda campaign you are planning to build as a diorama. The weapons, uniforms and equipment look accurate. Conclusion: It appears that Bronco has given us six figures that can go off to war with any unit in NW Europe to support King and Country or any of her allies. The uniforms and equipment are covered in numerous books, so information on these should not be too hard to find. Overall this kit should give you figures that can be added to any diorama and show that side of war not always covered. It should build into an outstanding replica and is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys figures. I won this set as a raffle prize in a local contest.
