Some time ago, I have sculpted this Tyrant from the RESIDENT EVIL game. And the figure itself is finished! You wonder I mention it? It is not usual for me to finish figure sculpting in less than a few years, so.... And I have begun painting him and layed down the first layers of Vallejo acrylic paint. Several will follow. A Base is in the works, too, so it is only a matter of time when finishing this thing. Hopefully this will be at the end of the year. My main goal is to finish all those stuff which lays in progress in my closet. The figure itself is done using Magic Sculpt and all those sculpting tools you know so far. Beside the Bandersnatch I have a few more Game charakters from RESIDENT EVIL to sculpt because I love this game (means the first three episodes, the good ole times it was only survival horror. Now it is more an action game which is not sooooo my cup of tea). Thanks for stopping by and checking my work so far. Frank

Oh gawd... that thing scared the crap out of me! I'm a RESIDENT EVIL fan but not for the game, the movie(s). Not only that but a huge fan of Milla Jovovich as well. The whole concept would be lost if they didn't cast her. So... this is much appreciated to see! Wish I had THIS type of talent and skills. This is unbelievable! Thanks for sharing! Jeff

Panther: Love the films, too. Spectecular FX and Milla, the coolest Lady around. The only letdown for me was the Tyrant in the third film (it was in the third film, wasn´t it?). Not because of the Make up or the special FX, but for the figue itself. In my eyes it was too small and "skinny". When this guy here is finished I maybe will do a second one, have some more design ideas in my head and in the books THE UMBRELLA ARCHIVES. Hope I can do a Hunter some day... Thanks a lot for your kind words!!
Foenetik: I have plans for a Nurse and maybe the Pyramid Head. But I guess those Manequins are far more creepy and here you can play with the body parts galore! A vignette with these characters might look brilliant because of the Base itself. This might be cool for Scratchmod because he loves rotten things, hehe. To tell the truth, I guess you can work like crazy on a cool SILENT HILL Base. Think of all the stuff you can put in. That makes my heart swing, harhar!

Thanks Rondriaan! And yes, you are right, there are several layers missing... I guess I will start painting this thing a bit further the next weeks before tackling a new project.

Frank I know right? just thinking about all the weathering and rust in a silent hill world gets me goin. Pyramid Head would be a great sculpt, so would the nurse. Cant wait to see them if you get a chance to do it. I may have to give it a whirl when i need a break from vehicles again.

Tony, I have seen garage kits from the Pyramid Head and some Nurses, done in 1:6 scale. They were sculpted in a good way, but it is not my scale. When I do a Pyramid Head it will be 75mm scale and a Nurse will go in 54mm which is 1:32. I can put in every detail and have good chances to get the Bases right because I can use all the stuff our military buddies uses in their dioramas! And heck, why not starting such stuff in between? OK, I have lots of figures to finish (which incluedes a character from DOOM, Aliens in different scales, a Predator in 75mm, some crude horror figures and a Maschinenkrieger figure with scratched vehicle). My problem is, that I have so many stuff lying araound more or less half finished that it is always a pain to sculpt new stuff without getting the elder figures done. Anyway, some kind of solution will be found!

Frank i cant do it in between because i have a habit of starting off strong and not finishing art projects. i do it with drawing, im pretty sure ill do it with sculpting haha. ooo predator, also a favorite of mine. Absolutely amazing character design. cant wait to see all these. hope you post them. thats a good idea on the scale. i havent seen any of the pyramid sculpts yet. ill take a look. ive only seen people cosplay costumes.

Tony, google them Pyramid Head Model Kit or ...Garage Kit, in this direction. Yeah, I know those problems, have tons of unifinished stuff standing and laying around. It is time to get on and finish something (and hey, if it is only the sculpt, that would be a great progress!) At the weekend, I will post some pics of an 1:6 Alien I have (unfinished, but you see lots of details) done some times ago. There is some work to do, but this huge thing is on a good way, I hope. In the meantime, I have done a bit more work on my 75mm Predator which comes out exactly the way I have planned. OK, till now...
And, to ask you, you draw?? Sounds really good to me. Drawing is an art form I love. Have drawn myself (only colour pencils) several years ago, but sadly no more time for that. I have chossed sculpting. Would love to see some drawings from you, any link?

Tony, I think, nothing is as inspirational as the work of fellow artits, to check their ideas and see the magic in them. There is so much one can find in others work (I for myself give credit in every pic I show to every modeler or artist who gave me inspiration or who let me build or sculpt stuff he designs or did).
Will make some pics of some upgraded work and post to discuss! Btw, the eyeball in your avatar looks very good. I can see the moisture, the highlights are very well and detail is top! All done with pencils?
