I'm starting to detect a pattern here Deano...this is the third or fourth rework in the last couple of months? Not complaining mind you as each one just keeps getting better and better...but we may have to start calling you George Lucas!

Nice ! two AFVs in just one base, and I suppose some guys will be displayed too I think it is just an effect caused by the light for the pic, but isnt the flag a bit orangey? its just a nuissance, I suppose that faded red looks like that... I have to take some notes about the recommended shade of color, should I add / display some 3rd Reich flag in a model/ vignette... A lot of years ago I (very) primitively scratch a 3rd R. flag over a Sd Kfz 232 (the old venerable Tamiya kit), using a simple kleenex sheet, and painting it with blood-red color, the effect was fantastic (at least so seemed to me, back in 1984...). Thanks for the pics! Jelly

It is always pleasure to see your work on such a small scale. Great work as always. One suggestion; I think that flag is too large for tank. I think that flags were smaller, used by tank crews.

Thanks Guys ! Andy those are 200ml bottles , Ive been rumbled lol Yeah Jelly its just the light and the high gloss finish thats on for the enamels , funny I used 3ply tissue for this and an aircraft decal . Momcha , you have a point and initially I thought it was too large so did a google search . Seems the flags did vary in size although there probably was a common size at one point ..... Im gonna go with ' it's a retreating army and they took it off an airfield flag pole

Thanks Leon ! I have now scattered some stowage on the flag plus I put a little figure conversion on as well . The figure was made from three brands joined with wire and glue ...... Battle wary trooper

Hi there ! Cool touch adding a resting soldier in the back, IMHO (call me freak), it gives a "living soul" to the model Later Deano, Jelly

Great looking scene. This two vehicles fit perfect on diorama. I can imagine how it will look when you add figures on it.

Many thanks guys , Gary I do struggle sometimes and have been known to go cross eyed for a few seconds but it passes . I get great enjoyment from painting these figures as the detail is so crisp for the most part . A good figure always makes the difference
