Since I really haven't finished anything in a while, I thought it would be appropriate to celebrate the fact that I have finished three builds this year, all started this year as well, something of a milestone for me.
Firstly, the Magach6MEM that I started earliest, using a Tamiya M60A1 and the Legends conversion.
I should also note that all the following pics were taken outdoors, and you may notice I need to pay more attention to things like background, my own shadow, etc.....
And one for fun:
Also started and finished this year, with the exception of one of the vehicles, is this dio featuring the M579 Fitters' rig I did earlier. The Magach is fairly recent, finished either late last year or very early this year.
The fitter's rig is from the Academy kit and the Magach is from every kit out there and some Verlinden parts too, I think....
What I wanted to show was the haste and congestion on the road to Beirut during Operation Peace for Galilee in 1982. I may still add a couple of figs here, but it's been to one show and going to another pretty much as-is, so I'm calling it "technically" done.
And finally, for today anyway cuz my fingers are tired, the Merkava Mk1 that I finished this week, based on the Tamiya kit with Friuls and lots of little bits of plastic, wire and putty.
