Los Yes, those two are I am afraid down to me Lovely work Gordon The truck dio scene is exactly what I had in mind. Really like the way it has that 'sunk into the ground' look. Did you shave off the bottom of the wheels, sink it into the groundwork or is it just the tall grass that gives it that impression ? Los

Los,
In answer to your question , I first of all carved out 4 shallow hollows in the base then the grass mat/ faux fur was glued on and it was slit in the places over the 4 hollows to allow the the mat to sit down in the hollows. As you will have noticed the grass mat has a pretty heavy backing so when the glue was dry I cut out the mat in the bottom of the hollows and then used a curved pair of nail scissors to trim the grass/fur back so that the wheels sit well down into the ground.
May be worth adding that when I sprayed the grass I used a darker shade in the tyre hollows and underneath

Man that came out awesome. Very nice weathering and love all the tall grass. That's one of those things I still have to find time to do.

Damn, that's excellent work. I did something similar with a Wespe, but yours came out much better.
