Welder

This is a bust I’ve finished recently. It was released by JMD Miniatures company in 1/10 scale. Bust was casted in resin and is rather hard to get now a days. Originally it was from Science Fiction line and had a bird like emblem on apron. I decided to remove it. It was painted with the use of oil and acrylic paints.

Biskup, there is so much to like on this great rendition of a classic bust, the flames on the welders face shield, the liquid look in the eyes, too long at the welding game. The dark shadows around eyes, the skin tone, the shirt pattern it all does it for me. Well done indeed.

The paintjob is extraordinaire, well done and very detailed. But the Bust itself isn´t my piece of cake, personally. It is really good sculpted with lots of details (urks, love the wart besides the nose, looks incredible!). I guess I would love it more being full scale in 54mm!
