Wouter: your usual outstanding work sir! Can't wait to see some paint
Here's an update on the Pz II DAK. Sorry for the duration between posts. All three kids are now in sports, teeball, baseball, and softball. We're at the ball diamonds every night, literally . This was meant to be a quick build to try some techniques and products. I used AK DAK wash and AK Africa Dust Effects on this. Really cool products that are easy to use.
More pics in the gallery. Let me know what you think. All suggestions and comments are encouraged. Thanks again for the chipping/weathering advice Boss! Gonna take what I learned and apply it to another DAK build soon;)

Hey guys we got some great looking build going on around here!
Multi, the PZ ii is outstanding! The weathering is great and the tracks are sweet!
chriss67, The sandgelb was used as a disruptive color over gelbbraun, but who's to say they didn't use is as a base color. The flak is looking good, I really like the idea of the flak in universal carrier!
Mr Wout, bring on the tigger! I'm lovin the PE!
Chris, comin along nicely on the spit! I agree the red brown does look better than black for panel lines.
Here are some pics of my PZ iv took some before tumble so I have bunch. She is coated with lifecolor gelbbraun. Still deciding if I'm going to do a disruptive pattern or not. Here are the pics.

PZ IV looks very cool. I just love those Dragon IV's. Got four in the stash dying to get built. Looking forward to the next stage. OH yeah, sorry to hear about the tumble. Hope you get well soon and back to the bench to work on this one.
Mr. Freak: very neat IV Sir!!!!! Love the shade of the yellow as well. And decisions regarding the Afrika camo ey , know all about that, still not sure which color(s) I'll be givin' the Tigger... Keep it up!
CS! Lovely Spit mate, camo looks sweet, and decals are cool as well. Pitty the white is thin indeed, but I guess weathering would tone that down, right?

Hey guy's! With the factory in mid output I finished the chipping and started the weathering on the tracks. The chippping was done with vallejo german camo blackbrown and a piece of foam from a roller. The tracks are heavy on the steel, but I'm hoping after a couple of coats of africa dust and a little rust they will look the part. Next up, gloss coat, streaking and dust! Here are the pics!
Freak! Nice chipping mate, looks great, now let the weathering come
with the exams behind me I got some spare time and continued the Tiggy build:
I added the clamps on the side of the hull...must say: I almost broke the house down because of sheer frustration, modelling is fun ey ...but in the end I managed to assemble the tiny clamps...pfff...this is pure S & M ;D
The Feifel gear of the old Tiggy was cannibalised as well...fit ain't 100% but it'll do. Still hurts to take away parts of the ol' Girl though
Anywhoo, this is how she stands now:
Cheers

Rob, thanks mate, hope she will as well when painted ^^
Dicky!!!!! Thanks a lot fella dude! But errrr...wots the MTGTP then chap? ;D
[glow=red,2,300]btw: fellas a quick question: I got ModelMaster enamel paints to use this time, and I got their thinner, but it's a small bottle. I've heard people using cellulose thinner: it's not harmful to an AB or is it?[/glow]Cheers
