I'll certainly keep my eyes peeled for any deals on either boxing. Squadron's Black Friday sale is only a month away...if it's in stock (it is currently), you'll get it cheap there! How many do you want to do? Depending on the price, 3 to 5 - I found 3 decal sheets, that I absolutely like, in the link you gave me. And with those, I could make a few variants. -Steven |

Have one of these in the stash as well - I don't typically do 1/72, but the rotor span of these things is ridiculous. Had to sell my big Trumpeter Hind after realizing there was no way I'd be able to display it anywhere! Think my favorite thing about the Zvezda/Revell kit is the drooped rotors. Such a small touch, but so appreciated. Also, FYI, the cockpit panels in these buggers is that Russian puke aqua color - got to sit in one at an airshow a few years back and even though it's a battered and tired beast, the cockpit colors are still very vibrant!  |
