Good Day Folks! First layer of paint on some of the parts completed, there is A LOT of touch up needed. After the touch-ups. I will be adding some washes, then assemble this part of the build. -Steven

Thank You everyone for the comments, I am having a blast with this kit. I really needed this, after the bad luck with trying to do those shiny civilian builds LOL.

I wish I was that good LOL Those are actually decals, I really should have done some weathering before I laid them on though. Decals or not...they still look the business!! With a light clear coat you should be able to still weather in there and then clean back what you like off the controls before it cures! Keep up the great work!!

Sorry folks, for the lack of updates. Time has been at a premium, and the build is coming along without any issues. I will post progress pictures soon, I am at step #58, which means almost ready for the primer coat. I can not stress enough, how much fun I am having with this build.

Glad you are having fun Steven! Zvezda really are the bees knees for 1/72 helos, and when I figured out that the Revell kit is just a reboxing of the Zvezda beauty, I knew you were in for fun times ahead. I have the Hind-A, and aside from the front end, it is all the same parts. I have started on it and it is simply gorgeous, so I know first hand the fun you are having with this baby!! Looking forward to more photos! Cheers, Sam

PIIIIIIIIICS! Oh, and did any of those Linden Hill sheets "float your boat"? Oh yes, wonderful decals, I have added a few to my list, I am on the hunt for some deals on this kit. Pics, coming soon, although on this build I am doing it will all the doors closed, to accommodate the awesome tiger decal. Thats one of the reasons I want to build a fleet of these, I want to try some super detailing of the interior with some scratch building details. -Steven

I'll certainly keep my eyes peeled for any deals on either boxing. Squadron's Black Friday sale is only a month away...if it's in stock (it is currently), you'll get it cheap there!
How many do you want to do?
