Hey folks. I started this a while ago and after a little break I'm in the mood for cars these days. So I'm picking this one up (among others) again. I'm going to stay away from the armour section until I can at least finish a few auto models. I often start by taking apart the front axle so I can make the wheels poseable. Then I add some detail the AMT Olds motor. Some detail to the tranny. I also added some detail to a moon tank. Don't remember what kit it's from.

so lately I did this. I thought the kit ladder bars were a little chunky, so I made new ones. I used the bracket part of the kit bars and built forward. More cleaner I think. Thanks for looking.

Looking good... your ladder bars version is far better than the kit supplied one!!!

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention that I will add bolts later on. It is easier to paint them separate and then glue them on I find. The engine is almost done so I'll post a photo as soon as I get the oil pan painted and a few more wires/plumbing done.

Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate the comments. Here is the engine and the steering box/linkage I made. I used the headers that go with this engine but rebuilt the collector side. And a mock up of the stance. A tad high in front but realistic for the period. I love those back slicks. Thems my favorite from the new releases.
