Trumpaters LAV-A2 is next up after twisting my brain on what the heck I wanted to build. i find it amazing that you can have a huge stash and cannot decide on what to build. I just stood there looking at the shelves and my son thought I was nuts........Well.......I am a bit. Stay tuned

Lean, TRM - welcome as always my friends. One of the things I love about Trumpy vehicles is the detail in the suspension and linkage. Phase 1: Phase 2: Phase 3 final: All in all it was a good day at the bench. more to follow. Bob

Man! See the hill, take the hill, eh? You decide which kit to build and within two hours you've got pic up already. You, sir, move FAST!
Love the LAV family. I am IN on this one!!

So much good stuff to build, you become paralyzed when you have to pick only one to build next!

Dupes, I stare at the stash trying to decide what I want to build the most..... seems like I've always got something that I urgently want to build. I like these things, I'll be peeking in now and then myself.

Leon - I agree 100%
T - Thanks buddy.
Got pics going up this evening. Really bad fit of the rear door assembly and the side plate armor was warped so I have clamps all over it now but it looks as if they did the trick. These need to be in place to better align the rear door assembly.

Ok so onward we go: I had the three pieces ready to mate together. The upper, lower hull and the rear door assembly: After fitting the upper and lower together and letting it sit for a day I went to fit the rear door assembly. Man this is a horrible fit. I lokked at the destruction's and decided to fir the additional armor plates to the hull as they over lap on the rear allowing a better fit and hold of the rear door assembly......well they are a bit warped so the clamping began: the door assembly sits allot better and now alignment is the only real issue to deal with at this point: Ill be working on the rear assembly this evening and some of the additional armor plating. After that its some fiddly bits to the hull and then over to the turret construction. Bob

Nice clampage work there Bob. Don't wave a steak in front of Andy, it's like red to a bull.

Another multi-wheeled masterpiece from Werkstatt Holmstrom. Outstanding work brother. Getting caught back up on the forum now that I'm a "Daywalker" now. Dave
