Good Day Folks! I apologize for the double post, but the replies maybe helpful to others. I am having a lot of troubles, trying to figure out what colors to use, on this Revell/Zvezda Mil Mi-24 V Hind E I use a conversion chart found here paint4models.comMy question is, on the instructions there is a number listed, but I don't know what brand of paints this number is for Click on the picture to view full size on FlickrThank You in Advance, -Steven

Hello Steven, Fairly confident they might be referring to the Revell color range. Cross referencing the generic type numbers resulted in some matches. This may not be the kit...but Revel had a listing of the colors on their site minus a couple: www.revell.de/en/products/model-building/helicopters/military-helicopters/id/04839.htmlThe bigger question is what brand were you looking to use? You will need the longer "newer" code to search for them. i.e - Aluminum Matt 99 is 32199. Grab the numbers off of the Revell site and enter them and tick the brand you want to cross reference with. Good luck!

Thank You so much for that link! I am able to get the RGB on that site, so I can use that to look it up on the conversion chart.
I mainly use Tamiya, but sometimes they don't have a color match, so I use Vallejo or MM
I am starting to use Vallejo more and more actually, has I been getting amazing results with their paints, plus it's a lot to get the paint in to the airbrush cup.
Thank You Again, I was getting a headache trying to figure this out LOL

No problem! Glad I could help a little! Hope it works out! There is some cross referencing for Vallejo HERE and more specifically Revell to Model Air on page 15. Not all of the colors are listed there, let me know if you need a hand running down a color....I have some color charts here, maybe we can find it until the pdf is updated.
