Evolution Miniatures – Gangster in 1/35th Scale Kit # EM-35009
By Shawn W. Gehling
This is an outstanding figure of a 1930’s Style US Mobster/Gangster (enforcer or soldier) from any big City (New York, Chicago or wherever you want him to be from). He comes with a Thompson Machinegun and a Cigar. He also comes with a base and wall section. This is great kit for anyone that is interested in the Gangsters of that era.
The Kit:
Contains 2 grey in color resin pieces, which form the base and brick wall.
The figure comes in 5 grey in color resin sprues with 7 pieces that have little or no flash. This set contains one figure.
The weapon, suit and hat look accurate.
Conclusion: Evolution Miniatures has a very detailed and accurate 1930’s Gangster in a relaxed pose. This single figure is a diorama right out of the box.
Gangsters from every major US city are covered in numerous books, so information on these should not be too hard to find.
Overall this should build into an outstanding replica and is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys figures. I bought this figure from HIGHCALIBRE Miniatures during the IPMS Vancouver show and currently costs $18.00 on their website (http://highcalibreminiatures.com/collections/evolution-miniatures).

Thanks guys, I even found him a ride. I found an old Lindberg 1/32nd scale 34 Plymouth Convertible. I thought it would be really cool having him relaxed next to that instead of the wall? Maybe in front of an Italian Restaurant, where the Boss is having a meeting?
