if you don't mind me asking- how in heaven did you manage to mask the difficult parts? By that i mean the sandy brown areas on the left missile tubes? I have plans to paint this in the RAE scheme but dreading the masking job on the turret

Thanks for all the positive comments its much appreciated
Gary the masking was achieved by using tamiya tape cut into small strips and placed 1 by 1 until the desired shaped mask was achieved this camo took me around 10 hours of work the orange and black camo was thinned by 70% to use the sand basecolour as a underlying highlight

Gary go for it buddy its easier then you might think take your time and dont rush it thats my only tip Dan B It would be ... I mean, after putting the scheme on my 2s19 (http://modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/thread/8665/2s19-msta-rae-2013 ) with very limited references ( and alot of winging it). it would be easy.. I just dreading that it would be come too drawn out u know.. LOL ... but yeah... I'm fired up now.. I sure will put the same scheme on... only this time, not so clean...

thanks for that mate, I might do that, and if he refuses the Abrams I send it in to MilMod. So far Kelvin he pretty much published everything I send him (except for the PzIII, but that could be for later)
Cheers

Is it hard to get your work publish on mags? My wish is to have my works contributed in a mg... I know my skills need a lot of work but I'm trying to get better with the pure intention of getting them in mags. Care to shed some light the experience, Dan ?

John T many thanks for taking the time to comment in the Terminator buddy Gary when I started modelling 4 years ago like you my dream was to have my work published I had a lot of rejections and only now am I catching the eye of certain editors I never could of imagined getting my work on 2 front covers this does not make me relaxed in improving my skills this is one of the most enjoyable parts of the hobby for me there is no advice I can give you on how to get your models published all I can say is share your stuff on FB and send emails to magazine editors that's all I can suggest hope this helps you fella Dan B

Yeah ... That's good enough Brother.. thanks.. at least I know now it's actually quite ok to enquire directly to editors.. I never thought of doing that s it's quite intimidating u know.. and yes, I do share ( more like spam LOL ) on FB .. . in all honesty, my works have been featured in websites such as Panzer-modell from Germany and Helmo from Greece but yeah.. I'm still pushing my skills.. Thank bro
