Hi guys,on a recent getaway to Norfolk,I came across a couple of things that may interest some of you. I looked in the guide book, and found a place boasting "The Worlds largest model and toy expo, and shop"......not quite that!!! Mostly kids toys,Scalextric,Die cast stuff, although there was one hall full of kits!!...... I found this outside.. Looks pretty good, don't it?...Don't be fooled,it was the tank used in the James Bond film,Goldeneye, and is a fibreglass body,on a Saladin chassis!! I went into the building and came across this little beauty... by my reckoning it is approx 25 feet long, but there is nothing saying what scale it is!!! I'll post a bit more soon.....

Nice find Chris!!! Sweet Enterprise!!! Just in case you were still wondering....I would say if she was "about" 25 feet that would put it at Continental O Scale, which is 1:43.5. Ship is 1123 feet long and the scale comes in at 24 feet - 11 inches. OK...that was just geeky.... more picks please ;D

Cheers for the comments guys, and sorry for not getting back on this thread earlier.....CS67...If I'd had a HET with me ,I might have struggled with that beauty.Like I said before,I'm not quite sure about the scale of the Enterprise.....1/48 didn't seem right, that's for sure!! Anyway,as promised,if a bit late...the 2 stars of my visit to Norwich City aviation museum...... This Vulcan was the one that got to Ascension Island, along with XH607,which did the 'Black Buck' raid on Port Stanley. And a Nimrod MR2,which is more or less intact,as is the Vulcan... And just to add 2 more cockpit pics to my album.... Vulcan.. And Nimrod... To say I was one happy Muttley, doesn't begin to describe it!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Hi Kenny, the museum is just a bit North of the Airport mate.....Best to check before you go,if you do go,because it doesn't open everyday, even in season...
