Hi all sorry for the late update on the project been working hard at the bench and have made some progress on the Tiger I started by adding a primer to all the PE areas only Using Wilders grey primer thinned with LC thinners Then a pre shade using Tamiya Rubber Black high;y thinned using Mr Hobby levelling thinners To diffuse the pre shade i mixed up a Red Brown colour using Tamiya acrylics Then it was onto the base colours Wilders ochre filter blended the colours well I enhanced the tones by using some oils Then it was camo time tried to aim for a rushed field application style looking job Another Wilder filter this time a brown 3 tone camo filter While this was drying i gave the tracks a bath in Wilders Quick Rust solution Dan B

Excellent work Dan. I love the camo and the color tones. The light Gelb base is a perfect palette for weathering. Looking forward to seeing more. Keep up the fantastic work mate.

Awesome work. I'm not familiar with these filter and track products you're using, but I'm very intrigued.

Heres another update for you all To add some shadow to the zimmerit i used Wilders Brown Filter neat and not left to pool in any areas then dried with a hairdryer Wilders Dark Shadow wash was then used for a pin wash Then it was onto the dreaded wheel painting i mixed up some Wilder brown primer mixed with LC thinners in a 50% ratio and applied in light coats just to cover the bare plastic does not need to be perfect Once the base colours were added i used Wilders Dark shadow wash and Ochre filter to add detail and warm the tone of the Dunkelgelb chipping was created using a mixture of a sponge and a fine brush using Citadel acrylics using Wilders rust i speckled the wheels any large spots were blended with white spirit i added detail again where needed with the Dark Shadow wash and prepared the bare metal areas with Black Metal pigment Then the bare metal areas were painted in with Citadel acrylics and a final polish with the Black Metal pigment The finished wheels ready for some muddifications Any questions and comments welcome Dan b

Yezz that is how i like it, dig the colors from the Wilder products! If you do every single piece of the Tiger like this you have a real winner in the make

Nice work on those wheels, sprockets, and idlers Dan. Should make for a nice foundation for the weathering to come.
