Hi DR ... I've been away for a while and almost missed the updates .. Great work so far.. I did notice one thing ... The X on the jack block was not on the block itself but was what held it to the tool rack. This type of holding system was not very common and was already being replaced by the time of the Kursk battle.. I know because the one I'm doing has the more normal simple one piece strap across the block. If you still want to use the X go for it but it should go into the holes in the little 1/2 round pieces that are around the block ... (Hard to explain but if I'm not clear enough tell me and I'll try and find a picture).
So keep up the awesome work you're doing .. I'm watching and trying not to be left too far behind ...

thanks for that, i,ve been checking out pics,( weapons of war , the panther,by dr matthew hughes,) i can see what you mean, going to change it for single stap through the middle, only used the cross as it came with the PE set, thanks again,

windows has gone belly up, so now using unbuntu, everything is a lot quicker and easier but...... can only upload one pic at a time? is anyone else using this?  |

They are and always have been my favourite tank . Going down a few scales means I can build a whole lot more of them ..... 11 in the stash and counting lol Keep up the good work DR , thats one awesome build and finish bro!
