Thanks Gents Andy the AR only comes out when things are hopeless DR fun's my middle name. In actuality they aren't so bad...ah hell they suck T that's getting close but I want to get the tracks on before close up time Leon thanks for lookin Delays, delays... When I stuck the idlers on I saw this So had to do this and ended up with this Not perfect alignment but at least the tracks will look straight. Between stuff like this, previously mentioned difficulties, major part omissions in the directions, and warped parts I guess this one has achieved Beastly Molding status. Note the capitals Regards, Mark

Nice solution to the puzzling idler situation there Mark! Sounds like a typical Dragon kit for sure from what you've encountered so far.

Coming along nicely Mark! Is it just me or is one of the Pz II tracks reversed? Dragon's indy links (even if Magic!) for this family are small and a challenge to work with but looks like they came out great.

Thanks gents Bill you are right I bungled that but I am not going to mess with it given the fragility of the bonds. Translation: Altho I may have enough links I don't wanna build another of those devilish track runs Looking at the Pz II I thought it was kind of bright so I toned it down with a raw umber filter, more pinwashing, and another flatcoat. I kind of like it better this way, we'll see for sure when dirt time gets here Regards, Mark

I hear you there Mark on the tracks...but since you've got it in a repair depot type situation if anyone asks you can always say it's in the process of getting a track change... Filter and pin wash look good on the gray base!

I don't know that I'd worry about the tracks on the II, Mark. There's enough photo evidence floating around that verifies that they where not always installed correctly by field maintenance crews.

Bob's got a point there too Mark! The Pz I and II crews were notorious for this...even though the tracks were handed, if they were in a hurry they didn't seem to mind too much about that from time to time. One additional detail you may want to pick out for some visual interest is the donut-shaped 'crash pad' on the inside of the commander's hatch on the II. It was leather similar to what you see on the inner surface of the 38t's hatch. The whole cupola was so short, they needed a thicker pad than usual to compensate! Nice progress on the dirt, seems about right to me given the overall scene and the suggestion they would've driven in there from wherever the fighting was going on outside of the town/depot type area to get fixed up.

Thank you for the kind assessments and opinions guys Bill thanks I overlooked the pad For a minor change of course these are the Crazy Mountains to the west of me from about forty miles away Back to task, I intended to use four figures that are now in place but have another three partially finished and can't decide if they make things too crowded Have to stare at this awhile Opinions welcome Honest opinions treasured Regards, Mark

That's a beautiful view Mark...can't beat that for some scenery! The extra dudes on the one side of the 38t provide some visual interest and help draw the eye as well as break up a little of the 'plane' of view of that area of the base, so I'd say go for it if you want to add them! The 3rd 'supervisor' guy in front of the Pz II might make that area a little too crowded but it's hard to say depending on the viewing angle. In the end, go with whatever you think tells your story the most effectively!

Thanks again, gents Bill well I've never been fond of supervisors anyway, so out he goes Andy those mountains are beautiful indeed but they are full of wolverines ya sorta need to be careful when up in them. Jelly thank you sir and welcome to the forum if I've not said so elsewhere DR thanks glad it passes the eyeball test Anthony thank you kindly brother thanks for stoppin' by Bill and the rest of you were correct about figure count and I am not surprised. I kind of ran out of German figures here other than the officer/supervisor guy so I'm calling it done. The evidence: Thanks for all the great advice and support everyone Regards, Mark
