Now this is a Beauty! Russ, let me ask one question (maybe I have overread it): How did you do the anti slip coat on the tank? It looks extremely realistic! The weathering is top till now and it will be a pleasure to wait for the next step.

Deano, that's part of the fun! Frank, the anti-slip is all Liquitex latex medium with sand, comes in the jar all ready to go. On the glacis add-on armor, I used it out of the jar, the rest is slightly thinned with water, all applied with a brush. I'm planning on using it some more, and will vary the amount I thin it by to get either the a "softer" look or really coarse looking texture like is sometimes seen.

I'm gonna try and get this up before P-bucket crashes me, wonky today, again...... So skirts are on, more pigments and a bit of detail painting done, TC cupola mounted, antennae on. I need some greasy ooze in a few places, a loader's MG and tow cables and I will call this one finito.

I think I am in love... can't wait to see it done so I can take it out for a date somewhere in Galon Heights.

I raided a couple of old Tamiya T34 kits for the cheesy tow cables, cleaned up and whacked off the ends, then fed some nylon string into pieces of aluminum tube I drilled out the ID on and attached the Tamiya ends to that, eight times to get four complete cables. Two hours later: I also dug up a loader's MG from an old Academy kit: Very close now.....

Definitely one of your best work to date... stunning build! Why is my instinct telling me that you will build another IDF machine?

Thanks, guys! Andy, it's already started...... Soo-prize, soo-prize, soo-prize! But..... I have a couple of old Tamiya T62 kits and about five pounds of Verlinden and Eduard brass and resin and a set of Friuls, so I may get back to a happy state and have two builds going on at once. It's hilarious how cheap those Tamiya T62's and all the AM stuff for them got once Trumpy got their T62's out and rolling. I need to look closely at the Verlinden turret to make sure it's not just a copy of the Tamiya kit part, but if it's anywhere near "correct", I see something Rooshin in my future.

Yeah, this is a real mean machine! I love the turret, absolute stunning and powerfull as the rest of the cat. Real great work, very believable and now letz see what you will do with some more kits and tons of resin parts. Give it a try!!
