Oh man that's great. This one is such a great weathering platform too. Looks like you stole it right off the set.

Thanks Jimmy! Now if only I can transfer these weathering skills to my armor and aircraft builds...

Love the 'Gonk' droid! Nailed it perfectly IMHO. Can almost feel the grit and dankness inside that sand crawler.

Thanks Bill! I've been talking to the two dudes responsible for this kit...hoping to develop some more 1/6 droids that would work in that sandcrawler.

Nice stuff. I guess you've been hunkered down at the bench pretty good if you can churn out a build in a couple days. Glad you're working on the SoD too. Both are great as usual. I really like the Batwing though...despite how awful that movie was.

Thanks fellas! Yeah, I'm always working on the SoD...any time I'm painting or weathering a "fresh" build I make sure I do something to one of the queens as well. I think I've subconsciously forgotten this movie - was it the Schwarzenegger one? I just know it had very cool takes on all of the bat-vehicles.

Nice pair of additions Dupes! Got to love the look of the Batwing even if the movie it belongs to is very forgettable.

Thanks Leon! You might want to check out this one as well... I've broken the seal on the world of Maschinen Krieger (I blame the guys here on the forum for making me start looking for this stuff)! So far I'm loving it up - going to be a lot of this stuff in the future. This is the Nitto 1/20 kit of the Super Armored Fighting Suit done up completely out of box with a bit of dirt from my driveway accompanying it. Your weathered paintwork is fantastic on this and many of the other models in your gallery. Fantastic work. In case no one has noticed........ The finned item in the centre of the back with the bolt head in it is an Oil Filter Cover of a 1968 to 1977 Honda CB750 Four. Not just similar but identical. Did you add it or is that how it comes ?

The Italeri RSO wasn't half bad. It was the tracks which made it......."memorable". It would make a good diorama background item with tracks removed and half sunk in the mud.
Even when I was a little kid and watched Star Wars 800 times as a daily repete on HBO. I always wondered what the "Gonk" droid was meant to do. Clearly, the Gonk droid was meant to be a platform for some pretty neat paint effects!

Any idea what scale it is?

Was really happy with the build until I tried to wrap those tracks around the sprockets! Re: the Gonk - thanks! There are actually several other Gonk/power droids in the films if you know where to look...but they aren't particularly obvious.

Any idea what scale it is? This should look familiar . The Honda CB750 Four was a very famous and popular bike. It was available as a kit from several companies in many scales. 1/12, 1/9. 1/6 and I think also 1/16 so not sure sorry. This is a photo of the oil filter cover that attached to the front of the engine. No doubt that this is the item on your machines back. This is not of any importance .... I just find it a little amusing.
