Need to build 80 kits per year until I'm 100 to deplete my stash. Maybe I should sell a couple.

2014 was a very solid year for me in terms of building the stash down a bit...even knocked out a few shelf queens (although not nearly as many as I'd have liked). Shooting to beat it this year! If I can manage to keep myself healthy - which was not the case in '14 with junior in daycare - then I should have no problem hitting 50 with a little bit of focus. Links to the previous year's logs just for reference - 2014 and 2013. Sadly I have no "roundups" for prior years. Let's get '15 started! #1, January 8th - 1/35 Tamiya Quad Tractor #2, January 9th - 1/285 Reaper Mini CAV Razor #3, January 30th - 1/350 Cosmos Models Resin Fury-Class Starfighter #4, January 30th - 1/1000 Cosmos Models Resin YT-2000 #5, January 30th - 1/1000 Cosmos Models Resin YT-2400 #6, February 3rd - 1/76 Cromwell Models Resin Firefly (shelf queen) #7, February 3rd - 1/72 DML T-34/76 (shelf queen) #8, February 4th - 1/72 Zarkus Models Resin AT-PT #9, February 19th - 1/2256 Cosmos Models Resin MC-30 #10, February 22nd - 1/35 Dragon Beutepanzer T-34 (shelf queen) #11, February 28th - 1/72 Tamiya P-47D Thunderbolt #12, March 7th - 1/48 Academy F-86F (shelf queen) #13, March 13th - 1/60 Scott Murphy Resin Battletech Catapult #14, April 10th - 1/350 Hobby Boss Type 212 German Sub (shelf queen) #15, April 10th - 1/32 Moebius Models Colonial Viper Mk.VII #16, May 18th - 1/144 Trumpeter Su-34 Strike Flanker #17, August 1st - 1/48 Hasegawa F6F-5 Hellcat #18, August 2nd - 1/20 Nitto Ma.K SAFS #19, August 3rd - 1/76 Nitto Ma.K Nutrocker #20, August 4th - 1/60 Tim Fusco Resin Flea Mech #21, August 14th - 1/48 ICM Yak-7B #22, September 2nd - 1/48 Hasegawa Ki-44 Shoki #23, September 13th - 1/6 .JPG Productions Resin Gonk Droid #24, September 27th - 1/25? 1/32? Because I build so many different scales of stuff, I really wanted to try to incorporate a ruler into the finished pics to give an idea of size - unfortunately it's very hard to accomplish. Example: This one is from the same line as a fig I painted at the end of 2014...although MUCH smaller. Once I build and paint a few more of them, I'll post a comparison pic.

Wow. That's tiny. Makes it even more impressive.
Just had a peek at 2013 since I hadn't seen it. I have to say your best work so far is the baby. It's so real looking. Weathering is spot on.

Glue a base on a quarter so it stands upright and take your pics with it next to the figure to give a sense of scale. Just a thought.....

Yeah! That's what I'm talking' about! Great addition, dupes.
I agree with that other comment - just glue a quarter on an angled base and put it in a pic of each build.

Hey, thanks everyone!
I'm digging the quarter idea (whether or not I can implement it with builds on stands is a different story...but I'll give it a shot). Let me see if I can dig up some sort of a mount that would look halfway decent.

9 days... 2 build? I thought I read in the Wall Street Journal the DPM was predicting reduced production for 2105. Go figure. A journalist not checking the facts.

Been a while! I'm not usually one to get seasonal affective disorder or anything like that, but for the past couple weeks I've been pretty...solitary. Not very forum-y. Heck, I haven't even hung out with any of my local club dudes. Regardless, I think I'm back! Will try to get back into "participation" mode tomorrow depending how manageable junior is. My solitary-ness did NOT mean away from the bench - quite the contrary! Got number 3-5 to post up today, and there should be more very soon. SEVERAL more! I did a quick mental tally, I think I also worked on numbers 6-12 as well in the past 24 hours. Heh. Some good stuff on the way. Got a "quarter as a reference" pic to go with the YT-2000 above. Yeah, that thing is small. And also a group shot to give some sense of scale. Oh, and the theme - my buddy Nick (of Cosmos Models) installed a customer gallery on his website - figured I'd crank a few ships out to add to the collection. Check him out here: cosmosmodels.wordpress.com/customer-gallery/

Further notage - the YTs are variants of the Millennium Falcon series. The Falcon is a YT-1300. There are MANY more ships in the Corellian Engineering freighter series...some of which I hope to do in muuuuuch larger scale.

Yeah, I'm here - now! Hoping to do more than just "pop in". Blame the kid for getting me sick (yet again).
I don't know what scale those things are either. They used to make sense, sort of - 1/2256 matched the Anigrand Star Destroyer kit, 1/4222 matched the Revell Star Destroyer kit, and 1/72 matched everything else in 1/72. 1/1000? I think that's a Star Trek scale or something. Heh.

Looks like you´ve been very busy in building and painting! Really love the Quad Tractor. First, it reminds me on the older times of model building (this kit is a classic! I mean to remember a complete set of Tractor, ammunition carrier and gun) and second, the top noch paint job with weathering. The robot is fine and the Starships look cool! Seems that I am not the only one who loves small scale stuff!

Couple more added to the case. These were both built and left unpainted a couple of years ago...don't remember why the Firefly got shelved, but the DS tracks on the T-34 split and I waited quite a while for replacements from Dragoncare.
Two more off the shelf of doooooooom!
