What a cute little Fokker. Should be a nice fill in build, but I don't know how you'll manage. My eyes don't work in this scale...I can see it once you photograph it, but if I'm looking at it in person...nothing...
Looks good so far!

Thanks guys. No doubt rigging is going to be a challenge. Andy, I am just happy that it can be "seen". Added some framing around the cockpit and the little pulley at the rigging mast. Holes drilled for some of the controls cables. After scribing a line down the center of the underside I used Rosie the Riveter to run a line of rivets down each side. I took and micro chisel to connect alternate rivets for the stitching of the fabric. I washed it wih a bit of paint to be able to see it. Workign on the back of the engine I added some ignition wiring and then the push rods to the front. On the subject of rigging I will be using very thin pieces of EZ Line striped off a length from the spool. There is a short piece of the normal and fine sized EZ Line in the upper left. Note the frayed end done by rolling it under a file. You can grab a smaller diameter and pull it off whatever length you started with and it retains the full stretch, and strength, of the original piece. While I can ill afford to pull any out, the upper right is a hair of my head for a size comparison. The hair measured 0.0022" The lower left is 2 pieces through a 0.5 mm brass tube that will go across the top of the rigging mast. The lower right is threaded through a 0.3 mm brass tube for the turnbuckles on the rest of the rigging. If I had waited I wouldn't have had to pull a hair since I am sue one would have fallen out from getting that into the microscopic opening in the end of the tube.

Some nice progress with that engine. I hear you on the hair conundrum, the sacrifices that must be made for accurate scale representation! Nice job on the micro-rigging too.

Anthony. Tobias, Bill.... my sincerest apologies for the late acknowledgement, but of course... thank for the kind words. Mixed up about 3 drops worth of paint and got the wings and tails feathers all down. Now what to do with the rest of the paint

I never would have believed you if you said how tedious it was going to b masking this Fokker. But it did get masked and painted. Decanted Tamiya gloos from a rattle can I think is my new favorite. Scheme and marking is a mash up. In fact the kit is an E. III and the marking or from that decal sheet. The color scheme however is an E.I that I found in the Wingnut Wings site and I liked it. So I hereby invoke the "What If Protocol" Engine and prop ready to be mounted.

Right there with you! Got one a couple years ago and spent the winter looking at it in the garage...started it once a week for fun! Glad to have it since then!! Life is much easier! Well the snow removal part! Now if I could get the two teenagers to help out, all would be good!!

Really nice. The gloss bottle and toothpick shoved in the nose really give a sense of scale now....wow...tiny! Lovely nonetheless.

Thanks lads. Bill, made use of another today but it wasn't the 2 feet I had hoped for. We only got about 4" by me. If we're gonna get snow... I want SNOW. 2 feet would have been a few more days at the bench. Flat coat and a mock up before rigging. can't add the tail until I get the elevators rigged. Need some room to work

With all that hype, and don't get me wrong here; it was a good size storm, the roads were passable late afternoon/early evening...at least around here anyway. Worcester is a short drive up the road and they topped out at 33.5". No Where to put the snow in the city...LOL!!

Four inches is more snow than Austin's received in the fifteen years since I moved back to Texas...
Oh well, it's going to be sunny and in the low 80s here today...
