Thanks for your kind words.
The barrel assembly lifts off still. I'll be able to get in and weather the frame then fix the trunnion caps. I have the 'canon' bug now!
Looking at building a 1/16 scale Long Tom. I have figured out how to make the tyres ,at least in theory which must be the most difficult part.
I need a larger work bench! And more time!
