Due to the fact that I love weird figures, normal bases aren´t the way to go with them. So I decided some time ago to make one off bases which fits my sculpts maybe a bit better and which are somehow unusual. Sadly, no base is finished till now (but thats no big deal, because the figures aren´t finished either, harhar!) So, here it goes: This base is created for a figure called MAN APART RIPPER, its a combination of a Biomechnic with some hands like from Edward Scissorhands. The skeletton misses parts of the legs till now and some more details on the base itself must be added. The figue is nearly finished, but one arm is missing till now. Pics will be shown later. A log done from Miliput. After buying the MAKING OF KING KONG, the movie from Peter Jackson, I had the idea of a little jungle scene (am I a lucky man? Thousands of ideas...) with some kind of fallen tees and foliage, things like that, and this log was the first to be sculpted. I am quite happy with it but as you see: NOT FINISHED YET! A base done only in Miliput for some Cthulhuesque creature. I have no idea how she will look like, but the Base is already finished. Only sculpted, no real building here! Frank

Always big fun seeing your works Frank!! All the bases are great!! Very original! The best thing about this hobby is letting go and just make something!! One of these days you will get a couple painted up and ready for those figs!! Love the tree Bridge a lot!! I could see you going to town with a bunch of foliage and what not!! Definitely has an Asian feel to it from my prospective...a few jungle civilians on it would look cool I think! Of course then I could see our friend hanging out amongst the leaves and vines Keep those inspirational fire lit brotha!!

Thanks Todd! And way cool pics you have shown (have them secured on my laptop, always as inspiration!). Yep, with plants and bases in general you can do so much, it is unbelievable! I love bases a lot, alone the ideas you can get from the woods you use for the presentation, the plate that had to be done. And and and...
