Franks projects: Scrooge McDuck scratch

You won´t believe it, but I love to do little scenes like this one here. It is a bit older (due to the fact that it is merely sold, I love to have it a bit longer here, so I am veerrryyyy slow working on it!) Always done in Magic Sculpt and Miliput  for the Base, this Scrooge is really a small one. Around 3 to 3 1/2 inch in height. The last pic shows a some accessoiries I have to add to the figure when the hands are done. A sack full of gold nuggets, a watercan, the pick ax and a rifle (not yet finished). This sculpt gave me so much enjoyment I have done more bodies of Scrooge and Donald for further ideas. This here is from a Carl Barks oil painting ALWAYS ANOTHER RAINBOW!

Thanks Todd! I have tons of ideas for stuff and my scrapbook is full of them. When I can stand the speed which what I am working now, I can finish a lot of elder projects this year and do some new ones. So ROCKING RULES!

Love the duck!!! There was a big joke about me and the duck last year when it took me nearly 8-9 months to finish my DUWK.

Shay, for sure! I´ve been asked a several times for casting this one (but I have to pay attention the the liscensing problems, there may be not to much). If there is the possibility, I will do it. And it would be a pleasure to send one to my favorite Belgian of cause!
Leon, thanks bro, for your kind words! And yes, there is one thing I am afraid for: Human faces. This is the masters class and I haven´t done a normal head till now. OK, Zombies and stuff like that, no problem, but a face, maybe WITH A LIKENESS?? Hell, this could be my wildest nightmare!

Had a huge "Lustiges Taschenbuch" collection in my teenage years and grew up with Scrooge and Co. And I have to admit that I like Carl Barks drawings even more. Very cool.

Dito me! And I collect everything I can afford about these themes! The Ducks from Carl Barks are the hell of inspiration, lastly I have begun doing the square chicken from the story LOST IN THE ANDES, they are cute and really ridiculous. Pics soon.
