Get out...this is excellent! Never see these resin beasts built up. Same question about your grey paint mix here.

Thanks guys! Yes, this resin beast is something you don't see every day. But i believe Hobbyboss is going for these apc's in plastic. On this one i used something i blend myself, XF-19, XF-57 and XF 65 in a 1/1/1 ratio. But i later did 'filter' it a bit with the lifecolor ua035 to darken it up a bit. Nothing heavy, but it made the colour a bit better in my eyes.

Been busy again today. Wash is done, and after that i put on some smaller things like the ammo boxes and the towcables. Also got busy on the suspension area. Too bad it looks lighter than when i put it on. And here are the smaller parts, i will fit these on when the tracks are on. Those resin tracks look like they will give me some extra work. I tried to wet the flag a bit so it wouldn't look so paper-ish, but the blue only started to stain so i had to replace that.

Thanks guys! Resin indeed looks nice when painted. Certainly compared to the older plastic modelkits.

Slowly but surely the end is coming in sight. Some more weathering done now.

Thanks Deafpanzer. Sometimes when im not building i tend to walk by the model and look at it for a few seconds and than think about what i will do next. And sometimes when I do that I am tempted to put another model next to it for size comparing. As I did yesterday, the Sho't 1967 version. Funny to see how IDF have changed the whole tank.

Looking good Heico! The IDF is nothing if not resourceful when it comes to adapting their gear.

I went on to the tracks today, first i had an idea in mind of perhaps leaving on of the skirt-plates off, but the kit forces me to put them all on because there isn't enough track available. You can't see it anymore but allmost the entire top part doesn't contain any track. Afterwards i added the skirt and machineguns etc. Also note the flag. And in close up Next time i need to check if all the glue points aren't visible mainly on the tracks and perhaps even a drybrush! After that i will probably call it 'done'.

Weathering looks very good. All I might suggest would be some soot by the exhausts. I am curious about how you did the flag. I have an Echelon flag set and managed to totally mess up the one big flag trying to stick it to some lead foil....

Rbear, i did a bit of soot but not too much and only on one of the exhausts as you can see better on this picture. The flag is a printed piece of paper glued together. But honestly i can´t say im am that satisfied about it. It looks too fake but i´ll leave it there now.
