Just a quick update while I'm waiting for 10 yards of top soil to be delivered .Got the tool boxes glued on the fenders and they are dry fit along with the wheels at the moment.Plan on shaving the latches off the boxes and adding the PE ones.First I need to get a good pair of optivisors as these parts are about the size of a pin head .Hope you like the progress. Thanks for looking,as always ACW.

Love the Progress. I need to break down and get a Visor myself.. The 4x Reading Glasses Kinda work and I have one of the Lighted Magnifiers but I am always hitting my head on it or hitting my tools on the underside when trying to work under it. Just an Overall PIA.

Get the lighted magnifier to have a nice bright light for your workbench...that's about all it's good for! The Optivisor will be much more useful. I have a nice LED lighted magnifier on a swing arm that I never use for small work but is a great bench light.

Ah, welcome to the old git optivisor brigade rofl-roll Looks like a nice piece of kit you got yourself there. As I'm afflicted with short arms and deep pockets I went for a cheapo chinese one with 4 lenses and an LED light - cost about 10 bucks with free shipping. And the Chinglish on the box is worth the asking price alone! Not sure if I'd recommend a floor, or table mounted lit magnifyer - I freely admit I like mine very much until, the pretty expensive, fluorecent tube goes, which it does with annoying regularity.

Dierk! I don't know how I managed without them .Now I just have to get used to them while I'm bending those tiny PE parts.

You'll never go back now Leon! I find myself using the Optivisor more and more even when just trimming/cleaning up regular parts as it really does provide a level of precision you can't get with the old Mk.1 eyeball.

Catching up and it is looking good! Looks like you managed to find time to model despite gardening duty on the order of your wife. Maybe you can give me tips how to find the time at my end too.

Turned into quite the marathon project, didn't it? It's coming together rather nicely though, Leon. Good work with all the fiddly PE stuff.

Some nice progress Leon! In the top-down pic it looks like one of the headlights (the right hand one in the pic, left hand side on the actual vehicle) has gone a little crooked. Not sure if that's by design or not but worth mentioning if you're able to fix it now before you get too much further along. Does this mean you're done with the gardening work for a while?
