Superb paint job!!! I'd like to know what you are taking to help you keep up with the mojo? I feel like I've been a slacker this week. Thanks!

Looks pretty good! Watch out with the Vallejo russian green. Its actually to dark for WWII soviet AFV's. When i did my T-34 in that color, i had to brighten the color up with oils. I got the Akan colors, so i have pretty good color accuracy. I am very curious how this continues

I did not use a wash on it. I aplied a filter instead of a wash. Filters are way lighter than a wash. Keeps the color more intact. The straps were indeed made of leather in this one. It was my first tank, so there are some eh... Things i would now do different

Hmm, maybe the drybrush is a bit to light. Altough i like it very much on the last photo. I think you are pretty spot on with your green yellow combination. What also is a good combination is Green and the Buff color. If i look at the bottom of the Akan jar, see a buff kind a pigment. Your work is looking pretty nice. Keep up the good work!

I must be old school...I love the drybrush phase. Looks spot on to me! Drybrush is indeed old school dupes, but its still a great technique today. I use it very little. Biggest thing is of course ''use it wisely'' I have seen people making great models, but then ruin it by going drybrush on it. I think its one of the basic skills for weathering.

Truly excellent results, man, an eyecatcher there... and I'm of the same opinion: old school is great... I think one could model like in the 80 's just with plain painting plus some oils and some drybrush... Later Jelly

Looks spectacular. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who still uses dry brushing. Makes no sense to me why it's not used as much anymore. I've not seen any other technique replicate the effect. Though I don't really miss it on well finished builds, I do think it gives an extra layer to the depth.

Great job on the painting Terry! Fine rendition of the beast if you ask me! "To dry brush or not to dry brush, that is the question"....not really! LOL!! it's one more viable tool for the bench! All comes down to layers in the end! More layer, more depth! You are nailing this one my friend!! Rock on!

That T-34 is beautiful. I love doing dry brushing. It is such a valid technique and works particularly well on 4BO and Olive drab . Also Panzer Grau. Less so on lighter schemes like Portland stone etc.
I find it really difficult to move away from enamels and dry brushing.

Well I guess it's matter of taste, but I tend to use what works rather than just follow the herd. Thanks Jimmy!
