That T-34 is beautiful. I love doing dry brushing. It is such a valid technique and works particularly well on 4BO and Olive drab . Also Panzer Grau. Less so on lighter schemes like Portland stone etc. I find it really difficult to move away from enamels and dry brushing. Why should we move away from anything use it all. Thanks!

Always good to have multiple tools to draw from in the arsenal. Dry-brushing is something I still regularly use in both detail work as well as weathering and finishing, all depends on the circumstances/need. Nice effect you've got going here Terry! The layers and modulation are working well together, can't wait to see what the final weathering layers do to it and tie it all together.

Yes these are just beginning stages of the paint process. Now it's on to the turret and then decals. Thanks! Terry

Hey, you know your turret isn't painted, right? Curious as to why you'd do apply color to that separately rather than try to incorporate it along with the other steps.

Shoot....the turret isn't even done yet. The method of painting will be the same so it is reasonable to think that the outcome will be the same. I've been doing it this way for some time so it seems to be working for me.

Interesting. Not sure if I'd be able to duplicate my work 100% between different sessions.
