Terry- Glad you liked them too... thanks my friend!
Jeremy- Thanks mate!!!!
Gary- LOLOLOL! OK I believe you. Wait a minute... I bet you heard from one of Cowgirls! Thanks my brother!
Sorry for being slow... have been on road for several days for work and my boys being in the sport this time of year. Returned to my bench yesterday on my first day off of 10 days long vacation and I didn't have the mojo to continue painting but to build something! So I started a wingy build... a B-24J Liberator in 1/48! LOL
I hope I will resume my work on the bust when I return home from Florida.

Hi Andy!
I was so tired with almost a month of health problems that I missed a lot of good topics. Great to see, buddy, in action and I have to congratulate for such WWII bust choice. As usual, a Young Miniatures is a very good choice. You already made some progress so I wish you luck and can't wait to see how you'll gonna finish the expressive face. But after the Easter I guess. Happy Easter! Nicolae

Ah, yeah, Easter is coming, so be prepared for some bunny action, guys! OK, wrong thread for that. But one thing, dear Andy, you have no mojo at the moment (yep, I know that, too) but starting A LIBERATOR in 1:48! Hell, you are my kind of man, Dude!

LOL! Thanks guys! I wish it was in Russia... one day I would like to visit that country but my wife is not interested at all. She prefers some places more romantic like Paris, Berlin or Amsterdam. And of course Denmark again where we have friends...
I am feeling the mojo to finish the bust so maybe we will see an update soon!

Russia can be romantic. Some vodka, a bowl of borscht... How knows what's next.

YAP, Biskup, I wanted to ask the same!! Whats romatic with Berlin (ok, they have some special sorts of food and beer, you get the best "Currywurst" there, and the KDW "Kaufhaus des Westens" is it worth to check out), but romatic? Berlin is "legendary" and a great town, and I think, thats it for a while...

I think it just might be peoples taste which I don't get. I was on a weeding where one of the guest was an Italian guy at our table. Most of the people know each other so we had very open conversation and it was also about the language. That Italian, French and Spanish do sound Romantic mainly because the way they are spoken. But one of the girls said she doesn't get it as for here German and Scandinavian languages are more romantic. So here you go it takes all sort of people

Oh, heck, mybe Mandarin and Sanskritt are romatic languages. Or the klicks of the kalahari bushmen (now THAT sounds cool and weird at the same time. I wonder if they have some words for Modelbuilding...). I my ears the most romantic speak is done by the Puss in boots. In the German translation it is way cool, so cool I have trained to speak in a similar manner. Always a party gag!

LOL! You guys crack me up... don't ask me but ask my wife. Our Danish friend loves Berlin and he will show us the city... maybe it helps. I told my wife if we are going to Germany then we must stop by the tank museum but I know its not in Berlin but an hour or two outside the city. My week has been hectic busy and my mojo is dead right now... thanks to severe allergies I have been fighting hay fever for last 2-3 days and this time its pretty bad.

Man, where did five months go?!?!? Sorry for not posting as I have been struggling with no mojo but it seems to be coming back slowly. Found the way back to my man cave and worked on the flesh for couple of hours last night... I plan to tone it down a bit when I am done with the 5 o'clock shadow beard. Still a long way to go... it is about 50% completed I think.

Has it been that long? Sheesh.
Glad to see you're getting the mojo back. Flesh paint looks great. I guess once you've got it you don't loose it because I don't see any rust there.
Welcome back!

You know I have been struggling with the mojo issue lately however I have been able to work on the bust this week. Hard to believe I started it a year ago! I am hoping to finish the bust in time for the model show this Saturday or I will have nothing to bring. That would be the first in many years... I have ventured away from modeling into new hobby collecting military helmets for last 3 months. I aim to collect US helmet from every era if possible... I only need to add two more to make my collection complete. Late WWII M1 with rear seam and Korea War. I hope you enjoyed the pics. LOL
