Hello all, Here is my rendition of a 1/32nd scale 4 part resin figure from Elan13 miniatures of a Preacher from the English Civil War period. This has been sculpted by Ian Succamore for Rob Lanes Elan 13 range, and a very nice addition it is too. I have depicted him passing a low barred prison window. Maybe the occupant of the cell is a Royalist prisoner of war or maybe he is a an ordinary civil prisoner. either way he is not in good condition hence the begging hands upraised for help. The smug preacher is just passing by unlike the good Samaritan of the bible which he holds in his hand. The prisoner is made up of a pair of Historex hands and a Andrea spare head from their Admiral Nelson figure. The base is made of MDF and veneered the prison wall is cork with plaster applied and rubbed off to leave a worn appearance and the bars are lengths of paper clips. I am puzzling over a title, I thought maybe I would call him The Christian as he is not demonstrating any Christianity to his fellow man. The model is done entirely in acrylics with some pastel chalk added for dirt and wear. Thanks for popping in Dennis

Wow Dennis!! You have captured a very pure and miserable looking scene...at first glance this almost looked like a painting. The look of shame the figure is displaying towards the prisoner is so dominant..."the walk of shame"? As always, top notch modelling Dennis! Cheers, Shay

Great story telling here, Dennis! Love the scene with the levels, a great idea and the execution is as usual brilliant! The painting rocks as usual and the base itself is great! And a title? DEATH FROM ABOVE of cause!
