This is one of the new figures I mentioned. What else than an Alien, this time in 120mm. Done from Miliput and Magic Sculpt of cause, with a twist this time. But first the pics: The Body is nearly finished, maybe some small cables and wire, but all in all it is done.   Here you see one leg. I have to make a little bit work on the foot but than it is finished, too.   And here are some impressions of the head. What I have to think about is the teeth area. I wanted a little evil grin, a bit comiquette, but I am not sure to 100 percent. Maybe will redo this area.   Frank |

Guy, as you have read, I am not 100% satisfied with the teeth, but will see what to do when the rest of the figure is finished.
Todd, cool! That would enhance the figure a lot. I really would love to see an Alien painted by you!!

Thanks Dupes! And yes, it is different. This Creep here i supposed to be 120mm, the Predator is 75mm. But I guess I will do a compagnon piece of Alien for him resp. an upcoming Pred idea I have for the second half of this year.

Yep, the progress is that I think abouot grinding away the teeth and do a complete new mouth. Here seem to be too much teeth, it is the comic book look which is taking over my nervs. Trying to be as perfect as possible for me, I often change projects like this till it fits in.

After some works of knocking on heavens door, I seem to be back for good. It was a bit blood poisening and weeks of pain, not so cool! 11 years ago I had the same with nearly dieing of it, being in hospital, too...

Hi guys! Yeah, the Alien lies still in my closet waiting for the mouth restoring. At the moment I am busy with some client work so nothing is in the plans for my own figures. For future action: I have found a downloadable sculpting program "sculptris" which is, as I see it, from the guys which brings us ZBrush, THE sculpting program. Now I will download it and begin to sculpt digitally. Maybe this will result in buying me ZBrush next year and more later, a 3D printer for doing my own figures and ideas more quickly. This will be an enormous step for me and letz see, how and where it ends. You can do so much great work in this new field and I am very curious if and how I can bring my figure dreams to fully 3D prints. I will see. But all those begun sculpted stuff will be finished as planned. Next year, I have lots to do...

Thanks, Gaz! I am not so satisfied with the teeth (seem to have more than usual, heck!) but will change this over the coming months. I have to rethink the whole figure a bit. Letz see what comes out at last!
