Guys, for some decoration of Bases I have done these books from the old brand PHOENIX from England and sculptor par excellence Tim Richards (anyone remember?). They are painted in oils this time. The old sheets of paper are minimized copies of drawings from Druillet who did some lovecraftian stuff decades ago. I have burned them a bit (right, with fire of cause, very controlled) and aged them with cold coffee and tea. This makes wonderfull aging agent! I have got me some more book models for these Bases and would like to detail them with minimized book sides I have found in the net (From books of the 1700th years. Might look really cool!) Frank

Thanks Todd! Yep, those little details make a scene! I have some dollhouse books, which will be sawn of a wooden plank and covered with printed paper, but they do not look as good as the sculpted ones. Maybe for detailing the background, but as "hero books" you cannot use them I think!
