Well slowly starting this model to accompany a scene to be called The Last Horse. The kit and some PE to accompany them. The complete package of metals. The first step was to mount the chains to see how the vehicle fixed into the scene. Then we started with a more delicate stage. Replace the fenders. The patient after the operation Part of the surgery is to move the vehicle light. This piece was removed from the plastic plate removed earlier and reworked to fit into the PE Fenders View. Thanks for watch.

Nice work on the additions so far, especially the little fiddly pe latches. In fact, it looks so good I feel the need to bring up one item, the turret rain gutters over the side hatches. These were actually mounted flush with the turret as can be seen in the picture below (this is an H/J model in the Danville museum). Just thought I'd mention it, as it wouldn't be a hard fix if you want to bother with it (you just need to lessen the upper bend angle).

Nice looking tank there Lechu! With all that plastic and metal, it's like good old fashion modelling porn! Looking forward to the paint being slung! Bob, I think that the rain guards on these late tanks might have ended up as kind of a mixed bag of tricks.

Bob, I think that the rain guards on these late tanks might have ended up as kind of a mixed bag of tricks. Don't know about the 2nd picture (other than it's Finnish), but the guard on the 1st one is definitely not from the factory....not with that weld bead! I don't know who added it on, but we've found someone who welds worse than I do! Another thing to look at, in the pic of the top of his turret (#2 in the last post) you can see the rivet heads on the rainguard are not actually lining up with the metal of the roof too well. And, to take it a step farther, because they are riveted (or bolted) on that section should be tight on the roof. Not trying to give anyone a hard time, but the rest of the model is looking so good it'd be a shame to let such a flaw slip by.... but that's just my opinion.

LOL...I don't any problem with pointing out something you see Bob...all good buddy! Sure Lechu won't mind it either. I know that these late models were hurried through production and I thing the point I might be shooting for was that they were a little adhoc...if done at all judging from the numerous styles I have come across. I was guessing the first pic never had one installed originally and a quick field mod was in order...unless, it is like most museum pieces, possibly the one you posted as well, where someone took a little restorer's license and went off the first pics they saw.

Looks more like the first one somehow lost the original. You can see the 5 mounting holes and the paint line where it used to be. The braces for the lip in the pic that I posted seem to be original, but not all had them. Don't know why there was a variance there. ***Not trying to hi-jack your thread, Lechu. Hope you don't mind the extra discourse.
