Franks Projects: Creature Feature

Another beast from unca Franks weirdo box. This here is a so-called ZERFLEISCHER, which means it is a human appart ripper, destroyer of men. This idea was born because of a cooperation with a game designer several years ago and I lost my mind after sculpting because of the legs. The idea how he should have a stand came first time, AFTER doing the main work: I had no steelwire inclueded into the legs for support. Means I have to redo something sometime. That stopped my work on this, in my eyes, cool creature. The Arm is attached pro forma, it isn´t finished till now and the connection point to the Body, too. But I think it will be a blast to paint sometime and adding the second arm will do the complete tribute to Edward Scissorhands. HARHAR!











Sometimes I think were to get the time and energy to finish all this stuff, because I have tons of new ideas. And sometimes you loose interest on half done stuff. Look over at the sculpting bench and see what I mean.

Andy nice one...but I have to agree with you...I'm sure Frank has some sculpts that finished themselves and are slowly crawling their way across Europe in search of their next victims!! lol
Soooo...how many projects are on the go? Hopefully not on the "Imelda Marcos" scale!!!!hahahaha

Deaf, too much to count I guess... When I take all the begund paint works AND the sculpting projects AND the "normal" figure tasks I am doing, it is too much for me now. And those everlasting new ideas I produce, my sketchbooks are filled with ideas and scenarios and I just dunno... Maybe this year I will get "rid" of some of them while they are finished or maybe sold. So, all I can do is sit and wait, ahme, sculpt that means!

Shay, that would be cool. When the stuff will finish itself. To tell a number of how much? I would say around 30 to 40. Am I King now??

Amazing to see how inspired you are, what a sculpting mania it must be on your hobby bench !? This one looks -again- just awesome.

Thanks guy! And I really hope you will begin doing sculpts, too! Not that I think you will begin the monsterpaloosa, no Sir, but I think I can pick of some tricks of YOUR style when you do medieval figures or soldiers!
