You gave yourself a test, and I'd say you passed with...flying...colors. (I puns) I wouldn't believe this is your first wingy if you hadn't said it. You seem right at home in the sky. Hope to see more from you

Back to large scale panzers for the time being but having had a close inspection of the Airfix 1/24 Typhoon, that's definitely on the to do list, that looks a fabulous kit! Just don't know where i'd put it once finished, might need an actual airfield it's that big lol!

I've bought it, so I got to get it built at some point...but where will it go? Haha...new dining room table centerpiece maybe?

WOW! Another die hard armor fan bitten by wingy bug too. You really did a great job with your 109 especially the mottle! Am afraid wingy bug is very contagious because my next build will be something with wings...

Biggest thing i learned was that you can't make mistakes lol, cos one can't plaster over them with mud like you can on a tank! I also worked at airbrush pressures so low and unknown to the world of tanks too!

Yeah thats what I was told... you can not hide your mistakes on wingy builds! Will do 1/48 B-24J Liberator... maybe I will need your arms to move it around when it is done.

I would say you did this build more than Justice Stu , looks excellent mate and at least you can hang this from the rafter ..... save on shelf space

Nice work on the 109 Stu! The Trumpeter 1/32 kits of the 109 offer just the right balance in size and detail for someone used to working with armor for sure. I almost did this one but opted instead for the F-4/Trop because it was on sale and cheaper at the time.

I did refer to some of the pics of it as a reference to help me build mine!!!!
