Hi fellas , following on from my 231 I thought I would build the last model 8 rad to enter German service which would be the 234/4 . Only a small amount of these were made so it really does contrast from the early war 231 . I now this wont be a quick easy build like a Dragon kit but what the heck I have a thang for armoured cars at the mo . I will be making some upgrades to the build so a lil bit of scratching will be done .......anyhoo here is the box art ............... You gotta luv Roden just for the box art alone , however the kit is ok but definately needs a little work ....updates soon !

Looks like you are hooked to 8 wheels now? It was Tigers, then Panthers now 8-Rads? I wonder what will be next... LOL
Pulling my big cozy chair up now!

Ooooh, nifty! Interested to see how well the Roden kit goes together. From the few examples I've seen, they're about half a step above RPM's stuff.

Hi Dupes , there were sightings of a 234 with a panzer ii luchs turret towards the end of the War . Sooooo Im making a play on that with something similar but more 46 ish , mashed an panzer III turret . Re- shaped it and added parts from different kits to come up with something I was happy with ........... This is both vehicles as they stand now , 234/4 in the fore ground ... Im ready to start the interior on that one . My Luchs minus the gun barrel ... I have a metal 2 cm barrel coming for that , far to brittle in plastic at this scale ..... found that out on my 231 Exterior and interior detailing next !

Ahhhh yes, the Luchs thingy. A couple of months ago we had a thread going with a lot of reference stuff about that - let me see if I can remember what it was under.

Nice choice on the 'what-if'! Should give it a very unique look.

Lovely work on the camo! Catching up after being on the road trip for more than two days... for some reason I like the turret better than Puma version!
