I had a Me 109 E-7 that was stopped after the interior finished. Again the mottling scared me a little. Meanwhile I received a new model of Eduard. The 109 G. I know there are many doubts about the painting of this plane. I opted for the North African painting, because it is what I like most. In both painting had to be done freehand. I decided to risk and provide experience for the mottling of UHU. Bf 109 E-7. Already painted, received a layer of gloss clear and already put individual marks. Are missing stencil. Bf 109 G-2. The same. Already painted, received a layer of gloss clear and already put individual marks. Are missing stencil. Now I just hope to finish these two models to finally continue with the UHU. I hope you enjoy. Regards ajcmac

First of all thank you for all your comments. At the beginning of 2015, with works in the space where I have my work bench, I was forced to keep everything. Then came a lack of will for the models. In September 2016 I bought a new model, Me 109 G 10 from Trumpeter 1/32, but everything remained the same. Finally, two months ago, I started to build this model. I remembered the two models I had started. Pretty much everything was painted. One Me 109 G2 and one Me 109 E7. I was able to find the missing pieces of the Me 109 G2 but of the Me 109 E7 will continue to stop because I have to find the pieces I had saved. From the Me 109 G2 I finished putting the decals, I applied a layer of gloss clear and a wash. Then, with a cotton cloth, I cleaned the wash. Regards ajcmac

Both look great AJ. I've been hesitant to jump into freehanding the mottling on a couple kits, a 109E included. Hope mine turn out as nice as yours did.

I was afraid to mottle my 109, but it's actually fun. That's what I love about the 109's, there are so many paint/camo variants. Great job AJ. Can't wait to see it finished.

Didn't realize the first posts were 2 years ago. No matter.... looking hot now. And I'm not saying that simply because I am in desert mode.
