Currently working on this one myself. Nice little Kit.
Tony, the build isnt bad at all. Not much fit issues for me at least. Just a couple of spots to clean up.

Craft acrylics? Really? That's impressive. Were you able to airbrush them, or is it thinned and hand painted?

Craft acrylics? Really? That's impressive. Were you able to airbrush them, or is it thinned and hand painted? I experimented with them a couple years ago. They can be sprayed...you have to thin the snot out of them...I thinned mine with a mix of Future (for strength - because I had read that they could be fragile) and windshield washing fluid. I was able to lay down pretty good coats but it isn't going to perform like Tamiya or a Lacquer.

Future and windshield washing fluid? Certainly wouldn't have tried that! If you happen to remember ratios, let me know. There's a bunch of colors that I have in that cheap acrylic stuff that I'd love to be able to fire through the brush if possible.

Thanks guys, I had fit issue with the wings on mine, lots of bondo in there lol. Also my refuelling thing didn't come close to fitting against the fuselage
On the craft paint I use washer fluid/ water and glycerin, The thinner is 50/50 water to washer fluid and a few drops of the glycerin, how much you add to the paint is different and just play around with it.

Glycerin? I'm assuming that's a drug store find, probably?

Wow. Beautifully done James. Amazing what can be done with humble craft acrylics.
