This is a small startup manufacturer from Ukraine, which do some nice stuff in 1:35, 1:48 and 1:72 For example this cockpit for I-185 fighter in 1:48:

The company is called Metallic details Oh! Silly me. I thought that was just your thread title. Hehe No, its not. It is however really an unknown name, as I understood, they are a recent start up. They contacted me a few days ago and I cant say no in such a case - their sets look too nice!

Oh wow! A 1/48 Polikarpov I-185 PE set. I didn't know that the I-185 was made in 1/48 (so i had a quick look). I don't like prototypes, but the Polikarpov is just...cool.

Oh wow! A 1/48 Polikarpov I-185 PE set. I didn't know that the I-185 was made in 1/48 (so i had a quick look). I don't like prototypes, but the Polikarpov is just...cool. I185 was not a pure prototype, around 20 were used in combat trials. And its a cool plane, superior to all other soviet and german planes of this time. Just unlucky - Stalin did not like it as his favourite pilot Chkalov crased during trials, plus it was hard to fly compared to yak or lagg. And the engine was not quite reliable, and all factories overloaded with yaks and lagg production. Switching laggs motor to a big radial was cheaper and much higher production rates were makeable as only nose section was modified.
