This is going to be hard to believe, but I've never had an Ebay account...until...
I was about to order some resin bang seats for the A-6 and a decal sheet...only people that had the seats was an in state (that means sales tax) retailer...and their shipping was just too much to bear...so on a whim I searched ebay and found the seats and decals from a seller I've bought from on Amazon before...shipped to my door for 48% off what those other guys were wanting...
So now I'm on ebay...with a new account...browsing...and I think I hear my wallet in the bedroom crying already :/

LOL...it was bound to happen at some point!! There are some great deals to be had some times. Typically I NEVER bid on anything. I can't be bothered watching something and have someone sneak in 2 seconds before it ends and steal it for a penny more. Free Shipping is another nice tab to click! Best of luck to you Jimmy...and your wallet!!

Well I did the "buy it now" option on those two items. I probably won't do much in the way of bidding either, but I'm already seeing some fair deals...haha...thankfully I'm practicing some self control...mostly because we are suspending mail for two weeks and I don't want a pile of stuff to show up when it resumes after vacation.

When I bid something at 30 dollars and one second left someone outbid for 31 dollars.. I can't counting how much I lose bid for that damn one dollar! Ebay is good in some way with cheap but it will heartbroken that someone outbid you..

I've already seen a couple examples of this haha. It's making me rethink my position on selling. I've got a bunch of older stuff I know I'll never build, but I always told myself that no one would pay for any of it...maybe they will.

I have sold even parts of kits or partly begun figures (ok, they were out of production) and sold that stuff for more money I had expected. And I did NOT sell kits, mint in box for a given price (and this was BELLOW dealers lists!). It is something you have no controll about. My best deal ever was a prepaint of a 1:6 knight figure from a belgian comic (do not remember the name, for fans it was a character from a comic where a girl named Pelisse is a main character, which I sold, too). This knigt cost me in a comic shop Euro 95,00 (was a good deal, but always a prize for which he was SOLD!) Several years later I decided to get rid of this thing, mint in the woodbox he came in. Due to a friends mention, I put him in Ebay France and wrote down the text in french language. To make a long stoy short, this figure went away for nearly 800 Euro! You have heard my jaw dropping on the ground as I have seen this. The Pelisse figure, which was sold extra, went for Euro 300. I will never forget the two auctions! This all is now round about 8 years in the past and I cannot imagine getting the same money today!
