Greetings, No, the original name of this robot isnt "Fly Guy", but "Kastelan Robot". Its from the series of Adeptus Mechanicus miniatures that Games Workshop throws on the market. Youll get two of them in one package plus a so called "Datasmith" miniature. Im not very much into tabletop, so this will be another showcase miniature, slightly rebuild. In this case with the help of guitar strings and a kitbashed triple shotgun made from 1/48 Mustang rocket launchers, 1/16 M16 rifle parts (thank you, Mr. Kirin Vietnam soldier!) and some PE. Small but fun side project (again ) - and thats what its all about. Heres the original: www.belloflostsouls.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/admech_zpscklgcr1y.jpgThey remind me very much of the robots shown in the movie "Casshern" - and that movie is a real classic imho and influenced me a bit when it comes to sci fi modelling and steampunk stuff. Great story, very manga-like though, very much of social criticism, freaking awesome backlot backgrounds, a touch of Final Fantasy here and there, great actors... WOW!!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=APsvq2mGTj0The state so far
